On June 16, a large-scale original ballet "Return of Honglingyan" choreographed and performed by the Chongqing Ballet Troupe was staged at the Handan Grand Theater. The Handan Grand Theater specially invited some armed police officers and soldiers of the Handan Detachment of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, representatives of medical staff from the Central Hospital and some outstanding teachers to enter the theater to watch this anti-Japanese War-themed ballet.

"Return to the Red Mountains" takes the Japanese bombing of Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War as the background of the times, and uses Dai Ailian, the "mother of Chinese dance" and the first principal of the Beijing Dance Academy, as the prototype. It tells the story of patriotic artists returning from overseas to the battlefield of anti-Japanese salvation, calling for the awakening of the nation and the real experience of raising refugee children. It highlights the indomitable and unyielding will of the Chinese nation. The dance drama maintains the aesthetic charm of ballet to the greatest extent. Through the dancers' interpretation, it conveys the power that transcends words and reaches people's hearts, allowing the audience to feel the indelible spirit of the Anti-Japanese War in the sonorous melody.

After the performance, there was thunderous applause from the audience for a long time. Many audience members gave the play high praise. One audience member said: "I haven't seen such a wonderful play for a long time. It seems that I am in the real scene of the Anti-Japanese War and am deeply moved by the national spirit of the revolutionary martyrs. In the future, we will continue to have red blood and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with our actions."

Li Jiye, general manager of the Handan Grand Theatre, said that all along, the Handan Grand Theatre has always adhered to the concept of "public welfare for the people and service first", and is committed to building an art hall that "benefits the people and is close to the people". In the future, such public welfare invitations will be held during important festivals, inviting outstanding workers from all walks of life to watch wonderful performances at the Handan Grand Theatre.
