The world's top ballet artists landed at the sub-center

Sitting on the side of the stage, Zakharova is elegant. From May 24th to 26th, the world's top ballet dance artist Svetlana Zakharova and the artists of the Bolshoi Theater in Russia brought a special dance show MODANSE that integrates ballet, music and costume design art for three consecutive days at the Beijing Art Center. With two highly fashionable one-act dance plays "Like Breathing" and "The Legend of Chanel", it shows the blend of dance and fashion and the new meaning that fashion gives to dance.

With the soft music of Handel's "Suite No. 4 in E minor", the ballet dancers stretch their arms, point their toes, and rotate their bodies... The one-act dance "Like Breathing" cleverly connects solo, duet, and group dances, and every pause is like an elegant sculpture. In the second half, Chanel's half-life story is told - the fledgling of the Garden Pavilion Cafe, the encounter of true love at the racetrack, the fashion wave set off in the studio, the pain and loneliness of losing a loved one, the subversion of the traditional Chanel No. 5 perfume... Chanel's legendary life is presented in a shining and moving arc under the infectious interpretation of Svetlana Zakharova. When the last action froze frame, there was warm applause at the scene, and the audience's enthusiastic response was not only praise and affirmation for this artistic feast, but also confirmed the note written by Miss Chanel for herself, "May my legend remain in the hearts of the world forever, as bright as new."

Ms. Huang, a ballet enthusiast and teacher at the Beijing Dance Academy, went to the theater to witness the beautiful works of "Ballet Beauty God". In her opinion, many professional ballet dancers will fade out of the stage due to physical limitations in their 30s. In her opinion, Zakharova, who is over 40 years old, can still shine on the stage, fully demonstrating the unparalleled talent and charm of the ballet superstar. "It's like enjoying a large Chanel fashion show, and Zakharova on the stage is simply Chanel herself." In Zakharova's opinion, she has little in common with the fashion superstar Chanel. Recalling the process of preparing the work "The Legend of Chanel", she admitted that the creators were a little flustered at first, and the music and choreography all started from scratch, "I don't know what it looks like at all." In order to find creative inspiration, Zakharova did a lot of preparatory work. She went to Paris to visit Chanel's former residence, read a lot of film and television and book materials, and learned Chanel's sitting, standing, and every move. After getting to know Chanel's story, Zakharova strengthened her confidence in playing Chanel.

The performance also made the new Beijing Art Center debut at the end of last year another boom, and the three-day performance was sold out. "The first time I entered the theater, I felt shocked and beautiful." More than 20 years ago, Zakharova first came to Beijing, and every time she came to Beijing, she would witness tremendous changes here. Many modern equipment and facilities in the new theater left a deep impression on her. "The bigger change is that the audience under the stage has completely changed. Now the audience's aesthetic is more diverse, and even more passionate than us on the stage."
