"This is a project that we have been paying attention to four years ago. Looking at the stills of'Chanel Legend ', Svetlana Zakharova is completely Chanel's original fragrance.' Pointe Love Strings' couples share the same stage, and the sugar content is off the charts." Zhang Xiaoding, general manager of the Shanghai Grand Theatre, said at a media conference on the 14th. From May 15th to 19th, the world's top ballet dancer Svetlana Zakharova will join hands with the chief dancer of the Moscow Grand Theater to take the stage at the Shanghai Grand Theater, bringing the double one-act dance "Chanel Legend" and "Pointe Love Strings", which combines music and dance, to open the first stop of this tour in the Chinese mainland.

Born in 1979, Zakharova joined the Mariinsky Theatre Ballet at the age of 17, known as the "Ballet Aircraft Carrier", and became the principal dancer in her second year. At the age of 20 and 21, she won the Golden Mask Award, the highest honor in Russian theatre, twice for "Serenade" and "Sleeping Beauty". Since 2003, she has joined the Bolshoi Theatre Ballet as the principal dancer, and has since been awarded the titles of Russian Meritorious Artist and People's Artist.

Zakharova's relationship with the Shanghai Grand Theatre began in 2014. At the Shanghai Grand Theatre's 2013-2014 season closing performance - "Mona Lisa Kiss" World Ballet Star Dancing Night, Zakharova brought her tailor-made solo "Unattainable Love", which attracted a large audience.

"I have been to Shanghai several times, and this time I feel that the city has changed a lot again." Zakharova is also very impressed with Shanghai: "Shanghai is a beautiful city with modern architecture and delicious food. The Shanghai Grand Theatre is spectacular, and the enthusiasm of the audience makes me remember vividly, as if I have never left here, and every moment of my past here is vivid in my mind."

Mikhail Lobkhin and Artemi Belyakov, the chief dancers of the Bolshoi Theatre, both mentioned taking a walk through the streets of Shanghai. Mr. Lobkhin said he liked the weather in Shanghai, which smelled like early summer. He tasted delicious food and went for a walk in the park. Mr. Belyakov was struck by the movement and stillness of Shanghai, with high-rise buildings and traffic on the streets, contrasting with the tree-lined parks. Denis Savin, the chief dancer, was in Shanghai for the first time, and he thought the beauty of the city could be seen and surprising everywhere.

On the evenings of May 18 and 19, Ms. Zakharova and Vadim Repin, the renowned violinist, will share the stage for the Chinese mainland premiere and only stop of "Pointe Strings." Together with the principal dancer of the Bolshoi Theater and the Shanghai Opera Symphony Orchestra, the couple will present an original half-concert and half-dance format. "Whether it is the stage atmosphere of the performance or the image of the actors, it will bring the audience a musical enjoyment and feast, and it is also a master performance feeling," said Repin.

From Ms. Zakharova's signature contemporary work, "Revelation," and "Death of the Swan," an early modern ballet piece specially adapted for violin performance, to Mr. Bigonzetti's baroque prologue to "Handel's Rhapsody," Duet 2, Mr. Repin said, "The selection and performance of'Pointe Strings' has been specially adjusted for the Shanghai audience. Because there is a new stage and a new audience, I hope to bring some surprises."

The double one-act "The Legend of Chanel", which will be performed from May 15 to 16, consists of two stylish one-act dance plays, "Like Breathing" and "The Legend of Chanel". "Like Breathing" is a work by Italian choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti, which was released in 2009. Since then, the work has been adapted into a one-act dance play and premiered at the La Scala in 2017. George Friedrich Handel's piano suite set the musical tone, the costumes designed by Helena de Medello are trendy and vibrant, and the choreography is a modern interpretation of Baroque aesthetics. " The Chanel Legend is a perfect fusion of ballet, music and fashion. Composer Ilya Demecki, choreographer Yuri Posokov, and director and screenwriter Alexei Flandetti co-create a legend about the life and work of Coco Chanel. The work tells the story of the famous fashion designer's growth through several scenes.

During the performance, the Shanghai Grand Theatre carefully organized the "One Day Store Manager" event, giving the audience the opportunity to interact with the artist up close. The Green Room Cafe of the Shanghai Grand Theatre launched the big coffee special drink "MODANSE", which is called "Legend" in the chestnut-flavored Montblanc, which symbolizes the French elegance of the dance code "The Legend of Chanel"; while the cream snow top coffee is called "Breathe" and is designed for "Pointe Strings".
